Last modified 2 years, 6 months ago
The current PM of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, served as the Finance minister before P. Chidambaram. Exceptionally brilliant in academics, Dr. Manmohan Singh won the Wright's Prize for notable performance in 1955 and 1957. He is also a recipient of Wrenbury scholarship which is received by a noted few. He was also appointed the governor of Reserve Bank of India in the year 1985.
Manmohan Singh is seen to face several criticisms in his career. One among the many criticisms inflicted upon him is by his opposition, L.K. Advani, who addresses him as the “weakest PM till date”.
